Our Powered Chipper Shredder is a fine example of the excellent all round garden care achievable with a Countax garden tractor. By replacing the grass collector (PGC), and running off the tractor’s Power Take Off (PTO), the chipper shredder delivers approximately 90% of the engine’s power to the chipping and shredding mechanisms.

It will chip branches up to 65mm (2.5”) in diameter to a fine bark mulch, or shred garden refuse, hedge clippings and other soft but bulky organic waste into soil-improving compost, up to a maximum diameter of 15mm (9/16”). The shredding mechanism reduces the volume of waste by twelve-to-one. A wet or dry setting can be used for different materials.

Being attached behind the garden tractor enables the chipper to be transported easily to where it’s needed, as opposed to a static chipper shredder, which may result in manual handling of branches or garden refuse for any given distance.
